Do you feel your child is not reaching their full potential? Have you seen young students succumbing to the mind-numbing process of standardized learning?
The famous American poet Mark Van Doren once said, "The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery."
Many educators overlook this fundamental aspect and overwhelm students with excessive and unnecessary tasks without identifying their specific needs. While this approach might work for some, most children do not reach their full potential as a result. Hence, you would usually find a stark disparity among the results of students from the same batch.
But what if we told you that at NPS Whitefield, part of the NPS Super 4 schools (Whitefield, East, Marathahalli, Silk Board), our students have achieved remarkable success?
In the 2024 board exams, 80% of Grade X students secured an average score of over 90%.
How did we do it?
Simple. With sheer hard work and by personalizing the learning experience.
At NPS Super 4, we understand that each student is different and has unique learning needs.
Instead of expecting every child to fit within a box, we have created a sanctuary where their uniqueness can thrive. Our Personalized Learning approach begins with a thorough assessment to identify the students’ needs, followed by tailored academic support to help them excel.
Our reading program, The Reading Scholar, follows the Lexile Framework for Reading. Every child first takes a test to get their initial Lexile score. Then, with the help of teacher-guided AI-powered assignments and selecting books from our Lexile-based school library, students steadily improve their reading abilities.
Tailored Learning heavily focuses on exam orientation and adapts its elements based on each student's academic performance. Teachers provide extra attention to struggling students and offer much-needed rigor to self-motivated children.
The outstanding 2024 Grade 10 results stand as a testament to the effectiveness of this approach.
